Creating a Beautiful Bouquet

Nothing says fresh like adding a colourful bouquet to a room. It's a great way to spicin' your place up for guests or a dinner party without breaking the bank. You can change it easily to fit the season or a certain theme.

One thing I learned since living here is to avoid purchasing premixed bouquets from grocery stores. These flowers tend to be older, look a bit cheap and more expensive. One of my favourite things to do on a Saturday morning is to pop into the flower shop next door and look through their various buckets of flowers. I tell them my budget that I want to spend and they'll help me create a beautiful bouquet. It's important to note that they'll often sell flowers for $0.50-$1 if their a couple of days old. You can easily walk out with a gorgeous bouquet for only $15. It's easy to pick up a clear vase at the dollar store or home sense to showcase these beauties.
