Japanese Avocado Toast

I love avocado toast more than the next person, but sometimes even a classic recipe (avocado + chili flakes + maldon flakes) needs to be switched up. This recipe is perfect for a lazy Sunday with a matcha latte. 


  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 avocado, cut into slivers 
  • 1 packet of original seaweed 
  • 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Handful of fresh spinach 
  • 1 teaspoon of salt


  1. Place the sliced pieces of baguette in the oven at 350 F and toast until lightly brown
  2. Top the baguette with spinach, avocado slices, sesame seeds, salt and sesame oil
