Bachelor Finale Dish: Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

While we're all patiently waiting to see Ben's match; I'm thinking about food pairings. Here's a delicious recipe that's perfectly flavoured and great for snacking between Lauren's and Jojo's tears. Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of brown rice flour (found at bulk barn)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 head of cauliflower, broken into smaller bite size pieces
  • 3/4 cup of Frank's hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F
  2. Combine flour, water, paprika, garlic powder and salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix enough to get all the lumps out. Add a little bit of more water if it's too clumpy or thick. 
  3. Throw the bite sized pieces of cauliflower into the bowl and mix until all the cauliflower is significantly coated
  4. Place cauliflower onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Bake for 20 minutes and flipping halfway through
  6. While baking, whisk together the hot sauce and coconut oil in another bowl
  7. Once the cauliflower has baked, combine with hot sauce mixture
  8. Dip with greek yogurt or any kind of dressing you prefer
