Baked Brie Popsicles

A hit at our birthday dinner party, these savory treats are perfect for parties and an overall crowd pleaser. 



  • Box of phyllo sheets
  • A wheel of brie (a small wheel will do)
  • Favourite chutney or jam 
  • 1 egg
  • A splash of milk (doesn't matter what kind) 
  • Food grade popsicle sticks 


  1. Make egg wash by combining 1 egg and a splash of milk. Combine until completely smooth 
  2. Cut phyllo pastry with a knife to make squares (the size of a visa card)
  3. Place the first phyllo square on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  4. Brush the egg wash on the phyllo and add another layer of phyllo and egg wash
  5. Put one popsicle stick on the phyllo 
  6. Cut a small piece of brie and place on phyllo with popsicle stick
  7. Add your favourite chutney or jam (I used caramelized red onion chutney) 
  8. Place two more layers of phyllo with egg wash in between each sheet
  9. Press the outer layer rim of the phyllo with a fork to seal the edges
  10. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes
