Detox Salad

Still feeling a little full from all that stuffing and mashed potatoes? Make this fall detox salad and your body will thank you from stepping away from the leftovers! 

Ingredients:

  • Handful of pea sprouts 
  • Edible flowers 
  • Mix of salad greens
  • Handful of raw kale
  • 1/3 cup of roasted sweet potato, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons of pomegranate
  • 1 tablespoon of raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon or sunflower seeds
  • Handful of sliced carrot
  • Handful of red cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons of my roasted red beet quinoa 
  • 1 tablespoon of hummus 
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • Half of an avocado, sliced thinly (optional)  

Directions: 

  1. Combine all ingredients and top with hummus, olive oil and vinegar 
  2. Place sliced avocado on top (optional)
