Easy Peezy 'za!

Who doesn't love Pizza? It's truly the definition of comfort food. Combine this pizza with some netflix and you got yourself the perfect cozy night in. I shaped my dough as a Christmas tree for some friends... don't be afraid to get a little creative! 

Pizza Dough

  1. Either grab the pre-made whole wheat or white dough from your local bakery


      2. Buy the gluten free pizza dough from bulk barn and add: 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 large eggs lightly beaten and 2/3 cups of almond milk 


  1. 2 tsp of fresh of dried basil
  2. 2 garlic cloves
  3. 1/2 tsp onion powder
  4. 1 tbsp of dried oregano
  5. 1 can of tomato paste
  6. 1 (15 ounce) can of organic crushed tomatoes
  7.  1 tablespoon of olive oil


  1. I italian spicy sausage and 1 mild sausage OR 3 chicken thighs 
  2. 1 medium sized yellow onion
  3. 3 roasted red peppers (canned is fine)
  4. 3 tablespoons of goat cheese (can also use fig goat cheese)
  5. 2 handfuls of fresh spinach 
  6. 2 tablespoons of fresh pitted black olives (only use this if you're making the sausage pizza) 


  1. Roll out the dough or make the gluten free dough 
  2. Ensure that you place flour and oil on the baking sheet prior to place the dough on it
  3. Cook the sausage or chicken
  4. Once cooked, drain the fat 
  5. Add the sauce to the dough
  6. Add the meat and veggies 
  7. Top with cheese
  8. Cook at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes 
  9. Garnish with fresh basil
