Savory Baked Chicken Wings

Superbowl Sunday is just around the corner so I thought I'd share this Sinclair family recipe. For myself, the Superbowl has really meant two things: chowing down on snacks and the half time show. I really don't understand any of the rules of football but I appreciate good food and company. So, here are some incredibly addictive chicken wings to help make your Superbowl Sunday a little bit more enjoyable. 


  • 2-3 lbs of chicken wings (I'm always a fan of organic chicken) 
  • 4.5 tablespoon of Bragg's Liquid Aminos
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of pureed ginger
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds


  1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees 
  2. Place chicken wings in large bowl
  3. Combine remaining ingredients (other than green onions and sesame seeds) into bowl with chicken
  4. Cook chicken on a baking pan with aluminum foil for 1.5 hrs (you can continue to toss them throughout this time with a pair of tongs)
  5. Season with green onions and sesame seeds
